On behalf of St. Francis Xavier Parish, I would like to welcome you to our school. It is my hope that you find our school and our community to be a place that helps your entire family grow in Faith, Hope and Charity.
As a student of Catholic education for 23 out of 24 years of schooling in my life, I personally understand the impact that a Catholic education can have on more than just grades and test scores. We seek to form young men and women according to Christ Himself so that they can pursue true freedom and happiness which is found in Christ alone!
The main goal of education is to lead children forth into the wonderful reality that is God’s Creation. This encounter with the Divine may come about through math, science, literature, physical education, play ground time or any other moment in the school day. It matters not exactly HOW this Godly encounter comes about but THAT it comes about. When God was finished with creation he proclaimed it all GOOD! Our Divine task at St. Xavier’s is to help parents equip their children to see the world through such a wonderful lens.
I couldn’t be more excited to join St. Xavier’s in doing all that we can to help parents fulfill their God-given mission to form solid citizens of this country and saints for God’s kingdom. With prayer and some determined obedience to God’s grace all things are possible!
May God be with you all and please know that you are free to come by the parish or school to ask questions or just to experience the grace-filled community of St. Francis Xavier.
In Christ through Mary,
Fr. Kyle Berens
