I am glad to be back. For those who may not know, I was assigned to St. Xavier parish from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2015. I have really good memories of a school with much spirit and a school that treasured each individual student.
I have been happily assigned to parishes with schools for almost all of my priesthood. I enjoy the young people watching them on the playground, learning in the classroom and answering questions at Mass. I especially enjoy them when their faces light up when they gain an insight, especially when it comes to their faith. I look forward to the coming year. I am impressed with the many improvements since I was last here. The Catholic School is so important as it is a wonderful and complete way to pass on our faith to the next generation.
